What You Need to Do
Since June 23, 2026 we have rolled out changes to both platforms. Most merchants need to take no action — but if you use API integrations, a WordPress plugin, or CheckoutJS, please follow the steps below.
For All Merchants
These steps apply to everyone, regardless of which platform you use.
1. Update your login bookmark
The new unified login page is at dashboard.seamlesschex.com. Your email and password remain unchanged.
After signing in, each platform opens at its own URL:
- Seamless ACH → dashboard.seamlesschex.com/ach/
- SeamlessChex eCheck → dashboard.seamlesschex.com/echeck/
Old addresses (paynote.seamlesschex.com and portal.seamlesschex.com) redirect automatically — your existing bookmarks will continue to work.
2. Add new sender addresses to your safe sender list (formerly Paynote)
Notification emails from our system now come from a new address. To make sure you continue receiving them, add the following to your safe sender list:
- [email protected] — automated system notifications (receipts, alerts)
- ach@seamlesschex.com — support and direct communications
If you have inbox rules or filters for [email protected] or [email protected], update them to include the new addresses above.
3. If you use API integrations — update your API URL
Since June 23, 2026, the new API endpoints have been live for both platforms. The old URLs will remain supported until August 23, 2026 — update your integrations before that date.

- SeamlessChex eCheck → developers-echeck.seamlesschex.com
Seamless ACH (formerly Paynote)
Follow the steps below that apply to how you use Seamless ACH.
We have introduced a new API URL. Update it in all places where it is used before August 23, 2026 — the old URL keeps working until that date, then it is retired.
- Old URL (valid until Aug 23): https://api-paynote.seamlesschex.com/v2
- New URL (available from Jun 23): https://api.seamlesschex.com/ach/v2
You will need to replace the old URL in all places where it is used — this includes:
- Custom code — any scripts or applications that call the API directly
- CRM and automation tools — HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, Make, and similar platforms
- Any other integration that connects to the Seamless ACH API
1. Switch to the new Seamless ACH plugin
The new Seamless ACH plugin is published in the WordPress Plugin Directory: wordpress.org/plugins/seamless-ach. Install it, transfer your API key (Secret Key) and webhook, then remove the old Paynote plugin.
The old API URL will continue to work until August 23, 2026. The old Paynote plugin has been closed on wordpress.org. WordPress plugin install guide →
2. Update your CheckoutJS integration
Replace the old Checkout.js script src with the new one — https://dev-ach.seamlesschex.com/checkoutjs/sdk-min.js. See the documentation for the full guide.
3. Update your OAuth redirect URIs
If your application uses OAuth authentication, add the new dashboard path to your registered redirect URIs: dashboard.seamlesschex.com/ach/
4. Add new domains to your IP/domain whitelist
If your server or firewall restricts outbound API calls, add the following domains to your allowlist:
- api.seamlesschex.com
- dashboard.seamlesschex.com
5. Update your Postman Collection
The updated Seamless ACH REST API collection is published at postman.com/seamlesschexllc. Import the new collection to replace the old Paynote REST API collection.
6. Update your documentation bookmark
The legacy documentation site docs.paynote.io has been rebranded and redirects. The new URL for the latest API reference and developer documentation is developers-ach.seamlesschex.com. Your existing bookmarks will redirect automatically.
✅ No action needed: Your API keys, account credentials, payment history, and customer data remain unchanged. Old login URL (paynote.seamlesschex.com) redirects automatically.
SeamlessChex eCheck
Follow the steps below that apply to how you use SeamlessChex eCheck.
We have introduced a new API URL. Update it in all places where it is used before August 23, 2026 — the old URL keeps working until that date, then it is retired.

- New URL (available from Jun 23): https://api.seamlesschex.com/echeck/v1
You will need to replace the old URL in all places where it is used — this includes:

- Any other integration that connects to the SeamlessChex eCheck API
1. Update the WordPress plugin
Update the SeamlessChex eCheck plugin to version 1.4.3 or later (wordpress.org/plugins/seamlesschex-echeck-payments) — it already points to the new API and the new Checkout.js URL.
The old API URL will continue to work until August 23, 2026. Versions 1.4.2 and earlier still load the old Checkout.js host.
2. Update your CheckoutJS integration
If you embed Checkout.js directly, replace the old src developers.seamlesschex.com/seamlesschex/docs/checkoutjs/sdk-min.js with the new one developers-echeck.seamlesschex.com/seamlesschex/docs/checkoutjs/sdk-min.js.
3. Update your OAuth redirect URIs
